Job Summary:
The IT Support Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the company's systems and applications, providing end-user support for PC and network issues, and performing various administrative duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide system administration support to maintain the company's systems and applications, including hardware and software.
  • Provide general software support to end-users.
  • Apply diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to research and resolve PC and system issues.
  • Provide support for the company's phone systems and multi-purpose office devices.
  • Coordinate backup procedures for all file servers.
  • Complete daily activity monitoring logs.
  • Configure and install new PC and phone equipment.
  • Maximize use of hardware and software by training users, interpreting instructions, and answering questions.
  • Participate in various departments' IT projects as required.
  • Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Record and document hardware and software changes and revisions.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements:
  • Information technology and networking exposure or experience.
  • 2+ years of related experience as a LAN administrator.
  • 2+ years of related experience working with an Active Directory.
  • Ability to work effectively with a strong will to help others.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrives in a high-pressure environment and has the ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Perform assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis with an ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.
  • Ability to recommend process improvements in the department to enhance efficiency.
  • Strong sense of integrity and personal ethics.
  • Flexibility to work beyond scheduled department hours on occasion to help ensure deadlines are being met.
  • Ability to make sound judgments in decision-making.
  • Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
