Family Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

A Family Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is being sought by a rapidly growing Health Center in upstate New York to join their dynamic team.
Job SummaryThis position involves providing high-quality patient care across all age groups, with a strong emphasis on pediatrics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering compassionate and personalized care while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm. They can expect to see up to three patients per hour, allowing for efficient and effective care delivery. With at least one year of experience preferred, the selected candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Bilingual or multi-lingual abilities are highly valued in this role, as they enable the provision of care to a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to rotate through various clinical settings, including clinics, schools, and mobile units, ensuring a diverse and engaging work environment.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position is competitive and based on the candidate's level of experience. In addition to a generous salary, the Health Center offers loan repayment options and other benefits to support the well-being and career development of its staff members.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Possess at least one year of experience as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant;
- Have a strong background in pediatric care;
- Be able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues;
- Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and attention to detail;
- Possess a valid professional license and certification.
