About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research and Development Chemist to join our Digital Ink team at INX International. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for formulating inks and coatings, developing new inkjet technologies, and troubleshooting issues with existing technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate inks and coatings to meet customer requirements
  • Develop new inkjet technologies based on customer needs
  • Evaluate raw materials and optimize formulations for cost-savings opportunities
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing technologies and customer challenges
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing
  • Publish project reports and other documents to sales and customers
  • Maintain laboratory equipment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 15 years of inkjet ink formulation experience
  • History of successful product development leading to commercial products
  • Strong knowledge of inkjet printing processes
  • Ability to interpret data and draw effective conclusions
  • Strong Math and Science skills
  • Proficient with record-keeping
  • Good written, reading comprehension, and verbal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP experience
  • Knowledge and experience with UV curing processes and formulations
