Overview:

  • We are currently in search of dedicated Medical Assistants to support our operations at the Williamsburg location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support physicians and healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including assisting with examinations and medical procedures.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow and care during medical assessments and treatments.
  • Guide patients to and from examination rooms, physician offices, and treatment areas.
  • Document patient information prior to each physician consultation, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and any medication updates.
  • Gather all essential patient documentation required by physicians prior to treatments or procedures.
  • Coordinate patient testing, procedures, and appointments as necessary.
  • Manage pre-authorizations and pre-certifications when required.
  • Execute additional administrative tasks as directed by supervisors or physicians.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required, ideally within a multi-physician environment.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
  • Proven ability to exhibit current knowledge of the medical field and industry standards.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel between various locations as needed.
