About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our team at ABB. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies and building strong relationships with customers to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed order growth targets with assigned accounts and product lines.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities, working closely with the inside sales/tendering team to define winning strategies during the pre-tender stage.
  • Actively participate in negotiations for key projects, providing sales forecasts and working closely with the Industry Sales team, Global and Strategic Account Managers, and Segment Managers.
  • Represent the voice-of-the-customer, ensuring customer issues are directed to the appropriate groups for effective resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with 10+ years of experience in the electrical industry, including at least 4 years in sales and/or marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of medium and/or low voltage AC Drives, as well as industry knowledge in Energy/Oil&Gas, Water/Wastewater, Mining and Cement, Metals and Power.
  • Effective communication skills, strategic thinking, technical and analytical skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), motivated, self-starter, able to work independently, and proficient with Microsoft office products and SFDC.
