Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Plaza at Lubbock. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading our nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Nursing Team: Supervise and direct the nursing staff to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Administer Medications: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct Assessments: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the health and well-being of residents and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Monitor Infection Control: Monitor and maintain infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness and disease.
- Investigate Incidents: Investigate and document incidents or accidents to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Current RN Licensure: Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Long-Term Care Experience: Prefer experience in long-term care or a related field.
- Leadership Experience: Must have experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
