Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be tasked with:

  • Providing technical support to the CMS Commercial and Technical teams, including guidance on product selection, operational protocols, and performance metrics to ensure effective applications for clients.
  • Conducting site evaluations and client meetings as required.
  • Creating technical documentation, best practice guidelines, and case studies for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with Product Management and Technology teams to spearhead new product launches and enhance customer product performance through field trials.
  • Representing Veolia WTS as a subject matter expert at industry conferences, contributing to committees, and publishing articles on relevant topics.
  • Enhancing internal technical knowledge through team training sessions, workshops, and the development of internal resources.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical) from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a commercial or technical role, with a preference for candidates with 10 years or more.
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial water and wastewater systems, particularly in hydrocarbon processing, refining, or petrochemical sectors.
  • Proficient computer skills, including data analysis, documentation, and presentation creation.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Desirable Skills:

  • Willingness to travel across North America to support business initiatives, including conferences and client engagements.
  • Familiarity with Veolia WTS products and services in the water and wastewater sector or similar competitive offerings.
  • Self-driven with a proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of problem-solving techniques and solution implementation.
  • Ability to navigate a complex organizational structure, coordinating across various functions such as technology, sourcing, product management, and commercial teams to address challenging water treatment issues.
  • Experience in ideation and launching new products tailored to specific market needs, including technical validation, commercial strategy, and marketing initiatives.
