Hydraulic Systems Assembler

Acutronic Simulation & Test USA (ASTU) is in search of a proficient and seasoned Hydraulic Assembler to enhance our operations. The successful applicant will be tasked with the assembly of intricate hydraulic systems and components, ensuring compliance with stringent specifications and quality benchmarks.
The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, alongside a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in hydraulic assembly. A robust understanding of hydraulic systems and components is essential. Candidates must also demonstrate the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble rotary hydraulic actuators with a focus on precision alignment of components.
- Construct complex hydraulic motion simulators, including the installation of rotary hydraulic actuators, manifolds, encoders, servo valves, accumulators, and instrumentation.
- Conduct precision alignments and metrology verifications of mechanical assemblies using advanced optronics such as alignment telescopes, theodolites, autocollimators, and laser trackers.
- Install hydraulic motion simulators and associated equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Completion of Fork Truck training and certification is required.
- A minimum of three years of mechanical experience is essential, with five years preferred.
- Technical school or machining apprenticeship is advantageous.
- Must be a US Person.
Physical Demands:
- Work is primarily conducted in a shop environment.
- The position necessitates various physical activities, including walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and standing to fulfill job responsibilities. Frequent lifting and moving of heavy components weighing up to several tons is required.
- Travel may be necessary, estimated at 10-15%.
