Job Description

Acutronic USA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and testing complex mechanical systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards. Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of mechanical experience and a strong understanding of precision mechanics.

The successful candidate will have experience with a variety of tools and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and drill presses. They will also be able to evaluate the alignments of axes in relation to each other, verify orthogonality and angular displacement measurements, and fit and size parts with precision.

As a Mechanical Systems Assembler, you will work in a shop environment, performing tasks that require walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and standing. You will also be required to lift and move heavy parts, weighing up to several tons.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test complex mechanical systems
  • Evaluate the alignments of axes in relation to each other
  • Fitting and sizing parts with precision
  • Cleaning and preparing parts for paint
  • Assisting in the packing and shipping of equipment
  • Performing field service functions on equipment
  • Assisting Quality Control in the calibration and maintenance of the Metrology lab
  • Maintaining an orderly work area, machines, and equipment

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical School or Machining Apprenticeship is desirable
  • At least one year of mechanical experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and occasionally internationally
