About the Role

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting the CFO and operations team by overseeing capital project budgets, analyzing manufacturing costs, and reporting on key operational metrics. This individual will work closely with project managers and the operations team to ensure that capital investments align with strategic objectives and are executed efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial monitoring of capital projects, including budget development, expenditure tracking, and variance analysis to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct detailed manufacturing cost analysis to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop financial models that assess the feasibility and profitability of new projects.
  • Generate and present financial reports on capital projects and manufacturing costs to upper management, providing insights to drive decision-making.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new projects by providing financial assessments and recommendations.
  • Support the organization of the Finance department's documentation related to capital projects and cost analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure financial data integrity and facilitate cross-departmental communication regarding project financials.
  • Work closely with the operations team to develop and implement cost management strategies and improve overall financial performance.
  • Support preparation for financial audits related to capital expenditures and compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in finance operations, capital project monitoring, or manufacturing cost analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience performing data analysis in Excel, Power BI, and/or similar software tools.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and operational excellence in the manufacturing sector.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is preferred.
