Overview
Tuba City Regional Health Care Corp. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Development Officer for the Navajo Hopi Health Foundation. This role will oversee the daily operations of the foundation and develop fund-raising efforts to support TCRHCC's mission.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to raise funds for the foundation, working closely with the foundation director and board of directors.
- Manage the foundation's budget and finances, authorizing and approving expenditures, and ensuring compliance with external financial audits.
- Implement fundraising events that align with TCRHCC's mission and goals, collaborating with community stakeholders to increase visibility and awareness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and other key stakeholders to secure funding and support for the foundation's initiatives.
- Supervise foundation staff and volunteers, providing training and guidance to ensure effective coordination of work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business-related field (finance, accounting, or healthcare administration).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in philanthropy, nonprofit management, or related fields, with expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and fundraising techniques.
- Proficiency in financial accounting systems, Microsoft Office, and ability to use necessary equipment to perform job duties.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills, with the ability to adapt to shift work and work in areas with high levels of stress.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
