Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Associate to join our team at PeopleReady Skilled Trades. As a Construction Associate, you will work on various commercial construction projects in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the building or construction of various things, moving items from place to place, and effectively using heavy and light equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the construction of various projects, including site preparation and completion.
  • Move items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor.
  • Operate heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment.
  • Perform a variety of maneuvers throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of solid commercial construction experience.
  • Possess tools of the trade.
  • Reliable transportation to/from the job site.
  • Ability to perform a variety of maneuvers throughout the shift.
