Position Summary
The Corporate Strategy Analyst plays a crucial role in assessing and enhancing the overall business strategy and performance.
This position entails a thorough examination of various business dimensions, market trends, and competitive environments to deliver actionable insights and recommendations for enhancement.
The Analyst will leverage their analytical expertise, business insight, and problem-solving skills to conduct comprehensive research, evaluate opportunities, and propose strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
Key Responsibilities1. Analyze Closed/Won Sales pipelines and provide reports on Year-to-Date new business metrics to Executive leadership.
2. Collaborate with the VP to maintain and communicate new business metrics boarded by Sales Representatives to Finance and Executive teams.
3. Perform ongoing analysis of the Salesforce Pipeline to report on new business metrics to Sales, Finance, and Executives.
4. Conduct continual evaluations of current Salesforce practices to suggest and implement process enhancements.
5. Assist the VP in preparing Sales presentation materials for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Budget discussions.
6. Execute various analyses as assigned using existing data from Sage, Salesforce, SSRS, and Power BI dashboards.
7. Review existing reports to recommend and collaborate with development teams for reporting enhancements.
8. Analyze current Power BI dashboards to suggest and work with the Power BI development team for improved data visualization.
9. Liaise with Finance to ensure alignment between Sales analysis and financial reporting.
10. Collaborate with the Project Management team to assist in projects requiring report development or additional analysis.
11. Support Sales in conducting market research and analyzing industry trends.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, including the ability to write formulas, create macros, and develop power pivots and scenario analyses.
• Previous experience in financial analysis is highly preferred.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM tools; Salesforce experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools; experience in creating Power BI dashboards is advantageous but not required.
• Experience in handling large datasets to generate reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Solid understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Salesforce Administrator Certification.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Advanced Excel Certification.
