About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to serve as the inaugural Executive Director of the Neurodiversity Center for Excellence at Diversified Search Group. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact in the field of neurodiversity support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to establish the Neurodiversity Center for Excellence as a national leader in neurodiversity support.
  • Provide visionary leadership to drive the growth and expansion of the Center, identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of innovative programs and services tailored to emerging needs and markets within the neurodiverse community.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with businesses, nonprofits, educational institutions, and community organizations to promote the Center's mission and goals.
  • Secure funding opportunities, including grants, donations, and corporate sponsorships, to support the financial sustainability of the Center and the organization.
  • Design and implement evidence-based programs and services to support neurodiverse students, including academic support, career development, and social integration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate neurodiversity principles into the curriculum and teaching practices.
  • Build strong relationships with neurodiverse students, families, and community organizations to promote awareness and understanding of neurodiversity.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience with a strong focus on entrepreneurial endeavors, business development, or in launching and scaling successful programs or organizations.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative programs, services, or businesses that have demonstrated measurable growth and impact.
  • Experience in identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities, markets, and partnerships, particularly in sectors related to education, non-profits, or community-based initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in securing funding, including grants, donations, and corporate sponsorships.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current research, best practices, and legal issues related to neurodiversity and higher education.
  • Ability to advocate effectively for neurodiverse individuals and promote a culture of inclusivity.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, within the range of $175,000 - $225,000, and a comprehensive benefits package.
