Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Sonography Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of imaging services.

This is a non-management job that reports to a supervisor or director. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Radiology or Ultrasound and be credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) retirement savings plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound studies, complete study findings, and mail results to referring agencies
  • Provide explanation to patients regarding the ultrasound procedure
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and stock supplies
  • Prepare patients for physician examinations and assist during procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
  • Patient equipment operation (vitals, suction, defibrillator)
  • Mathematical skills and attention to detail
