Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Building Automation Project Engineer to join our team at Jobot. This role is critical in supporting our Service Manager and field technicians with site coordination, project engineering, and customer relations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Service Manager in project coordination, including engineering support, product purchases, and site scheduling.
  • Generate accurate and detailed submittals for customer approval, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely equipment procurement and delivery.
  • Prepare and organize Installation, Operation, and Maintenance (IOM) manuals for completed projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to field technicians during project execution.
  • Analyze project performance from both a technical and financial perspective, ensuring projects are completed within scope and budget.
  • Communicate regularly with customers, building owners, consulting engineers, and contractors to address project needs and challenges.

Key qualifications include a four-year degree in Engineering or a related field, proficiency in Windows-based applications, and excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
