Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at a renowned fine dining Japanese restaurant in Miami. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement menu planning, inventory control, and cost control strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create new menu items and specials.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position.
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
