We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Advisor to join our team at Community Behavioral Health. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and oversight to ensure the highest quality of care for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure compliance with best practice standards and state regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with providers and stakeholders to address clinical and medical matters, including member placement, coordination of care, and quality concerns.
- Participate in quality reviews and training sessions to ensure excellence in patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and best practices to inform decision-making.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and PA licensure.
- Board certification in Adult or Child Psychiatry.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical psychiatry experience, including inpatient care and substance abuse treatment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This is a full-time position that requires regular travel within the City of Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to continuous changes and demands.
