Job Summary

The Physician Advisor is a critical role at Community Behavioral Health, responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight of the clinical management of members. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the clinical management of members.
  • Consult with providers and system stakeholders on clinical and medical matters.
  • Participate in quality reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with care managers and providers to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO)
  • PA Licensure; Board Certified in Adult or Child Psychiatry
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical psychiatry experience, including inpatient care and substance abuse treatment
Skills
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
Work Environment

The Physician Advisor will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and flexibility. The position involves regular travel within the City of Philadelphia and requires the ability to work in a variety of settings.
