Housekeeping Staff Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff to join our team at Wellington Health and Rehab. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our resident rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare rooms for new admissions and ensure quality and deep cleaning for residents' rooms after discharge.
  • Enhance safety and sanitary conditions by following all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Housekeeping experience preferred but not required; a willingness to learn as needed.
  • Solid communication skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and interact with residents, vendors, and team members.
Work Schedule:

This full-time position works 8-hour shifts, from 6A-2P, and every other weekend.
