Job Summary: LibertyHealth System is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow established cleaning guidelines and protocols to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the facility.
- Clean and disinfect all surfaces, including floors, countertops, and equipment, using approved cleaning products and equipment.
- Empty trash and recyclables from resident rooms and common areas, and replace liners as needed.
- Dust and vacuum all floors, including carpets, rugs, and hardwood.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
- Change bed linens and make beds in resident rooms.
- Restock soap, toilet paper, and paper products in common areas as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work every other weekend and flexible schedule as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts and equipment as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other staff members.
