This role is integral to the delivery of patient meal services, encompassing a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring optimal dining experiences for patients. Key duties include:
- Facilitating patient meal selections and processing menus.
- Assembling and delivering meal trays, as well as collecting and cleaning used trays.
- Preparing food items and accommodating special dietary requests.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of trayline stations and equipment.
- Providing in-between meal food deliveries to meet patient needs.
In addition, this position requires effective communication with patients regarding their food preferences and addressing any concerns with the dietitian and nutrition supervisor. You will assist in monitoring fluid intake and ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions to enhance patient satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: 1-2 years in a relevant field
Skills: Proficiency in basic math, reading, and writing.
This position plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of service quality, which is reflected in patient satisfaction metrics.
Work Schedule: Day/Evening shifts with weekend and holiday commitments.
