Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will possess effective collaboration and communication skills to work with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert input and recommendations.
  • Provide training and resources to staff and parents on speech and language development.
  • Stay current with the latest research and practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
