Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking a committed Speech-Language Pathologist to work within a school environment. The successful candidate will be dedicated to assisting students in overcoming their speech and language difficulties, thus helping them reach their academic potential.

Key Duties:

  • Perform evaluations to determine students' speech and language requirements.
  • Create and execute personalized treatment strategies.
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to students experiencing speech and language challenges.
  • Engage with educators, guardians, and other specialists to promote student achievement.
  • Track and record student progress, modifying therapy plans as necessary.
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and offer insights on students' speech and language objectives.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Mississippi state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
