Event Beverage Specialist

Responsible for the setup, operation, and dismantling of beverage stations at events, adhering to the highest standards of guest service and environmental sustainability.

Career Advancement Opportunities:

Bartender – Bar Supervisor – Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review Event Orders to ascertain details regarding the event, guest count, and bar type (house, premium, cash, open, etc.).

2. Prepare and arrange portable bars in designated areas following established protocols.

3. Adhere to standard operating procedures for beverage preparation and service.

4. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.

5. Follow cash handling procedures as outlined by the company.

6. Clear tables of all waste and used glassware, and ensure the cleanliness of the event space.

7. Dismantle and thoroughly clean the bar area; ensure all surfaces are sanitized and water is disposed of properly.

8. Return all equipment and supplies to their designated storage areas.

9. Implement sustainability practices in line with the company’s environmental initiatives.

10. Maintain safe working practices, utilizing personal protective equipment and adhering to safety standards.

11. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Prior experience in bartending or event service is advantageous.

- TIPS Certification is beneficial.

- Food Safety Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Work Environment:

- Flexible work schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.

- Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 35 pounds, and various movements such as bending and reaching.
