Job Summary

The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our network of auto dealerships. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with on-site dealership offices to timely process payroll for all dealership employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll processing.
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee personnel files.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the auto dealership industry.
  • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook and Excel).
  • General knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
