Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team in a travel position.

Job Summary

This is a travel Radiology Technologist position that requires the candidate to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiology examinations, preparing patients for procedures, and positioning patients properly to obtain high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology examinations in accordance with department policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the procedure to the patient and creating a comfortable environment.
  • Position patients properly to obtain the best image while providing a calm and caring demeanor.
  • Set equipment to obtain the best density, detail, and contrast of the area being imaged.
  • Take preventative steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation.
  • Assist in record maintenance and statistics as requested.
  • Recognize, report, and record observations and care provided in compliance with SCHS policies and regulatory agencies.
  • Stock unit, transport patients, and assist in keeping the unit clean and free of clutter.
  • Clean equipment and help identify need for maintenance.
Requirements
  • 1 year minimum experience as a Radiology Technologist.
  • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging License.
  • ARRT certification.
  • BLS certification.
Work Environment

This position provides coverage in the OR and ER and requires floating to other units/departments. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, and the successful candidate must be able to adapt to changing situations.
