About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at Frontage Laboratories. As a key member of our Commercial Development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our client base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business growth and improve client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver proposals that meet client needs and achieve business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Manage a portfolio of biotech and large pharma accounts, driving collaboration and growth through effective relationship-building and strategic planning
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, biology, pharmaceutics, life science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of CRO/CDMO or related industry business development/sales experience
  • Experience in or demonstrated knowledge of cGMP and CMC development
  • Ability to operate in a highly matrixed organization, securing support from key stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Able to travel within the assigned territory, to conferences, and to Frontage sites as required to support client visits
