Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Civil Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a hydraulic telescoping boom type crane to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights, and perform other related operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate a hydraulic telescoping boom type crane to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights, and perform other related operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oil, grease, or otherwise service and make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Compliance and Safety: Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report any unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
  • Teamwork and Leadership: Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals, and provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
Requirements:
  • Education: Less than a High School Diploma
  • Working Conditions: Outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions
  • Physical Activity Level: Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials
