As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our apartment community, assisting prospective residents with their housing needs and ensuring a positive leasing experience.

Job Summary

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for effectively implementing the leasing and marketing program, promoting the positive image of the apartment community, and assisting management with resident programs and retention. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handles all aspects of leasing apartments, including greeting prospective residents, touring the community, closing the sale, processing applications in a timely manner, and following up with prospects.
  • Qualifies all prospects and markets the apartments in a professional manner.
  • Shows model apartments and educates prospects on the benefits of our apartments, including the competitive market and general market area.
  • Leases apartments and is responsible for all paperwork involved in taking applications and completing through lease signing.
  • Prepares daily and weekly reports for the Community Manager.
  • Ensures the appearance and condition of the market-ready units, clubhouse, and leasing office, as well as the overall property.
  • Reports all problems to the Community or Assistant Community Manager for immediate correction.
Requirements
  • Bilingual-Spanish
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical demands include, but are not limited to, lifting, carrying, climbing, stepping, kneeling, working outdoors, overtime, and weekend coverage as needed.
