Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Arc of Greater Prince William/INSIGHT, Inc. in Prince William County. As an LPN, you will provide nursing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, guiding and directing staff on health issues and providing health-related education.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to individuals with IDD, including administering medications and providing health-related education
- Guide and direct staff on health issues and provide health-related education
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Virginia
- Experience working with individuals with IDD
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
- Valid Virginia driver's license and a minimum of three years of driving experience in the United States

Shifts Available: Saturday 2-10/Sunday 6a-2p, 2p-10p, you can select one or combine.
Location: IDD group home located in Manassas, VA 2011.
Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must have experience with intellectual and developmentally disabled individuals, physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., a license to practice, and must be flexible.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills.
Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration (MAT), Medicaid Waiver, Human Rights, OSHA and Van Training.
Criminal and Child Protective Services Background investigations conducted for all employees; must meet state of Virginia employment eligibility requirements.
A valid Virginia Driver/s license, a licensed U.S. driver with a minimum if THREE (3) years driving experience in the United States.
Driving record must meet agencys vehicle insurance carrier requirements, the ability to attend and pass onsite training classes within the first 30 days of hire.
