Position Summary: The Life Support Training Specialist is responsible for instructing Life Support courses utilizing AHA curriculum and materials. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in executing the skills taught and the capability to convey these skills to students effectively and clearly. This role includes organizing class schedules and conducting AHA courses for Benefis employees and other participants. Additional instructional opportunities may arise beyond life support training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and informative Life Support training sessions.
  • Coordinate and manage class schedules efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Adapt to various situations and handle stress effectively.
  • Perform all assigned job duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current AHA provider status required for all disciplines taught.
  • Preferred: Current AHA Instructor status.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in AHA training.

Skills and Attributes: The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing environments. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effectively engaging with diverse individuals and navigating challenging situations.
