About the Role

Seattle Radiology is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Imaging team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technologists with patient preparation, consenting, exams, and procedures.
  • Obtain and review patient orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Acquire all necessary documentation and information from referring providers, patients, and insurance plans to facilitate patient care.
  • Schedule exams and clinic procedures, ensuring seamless communication between teams.
  • Act as a liaison between technologists, referring providers, scheduling teams, and patients to ensure accurate and professional communication.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, referring providers, and team members, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Process and handle patient information confidentially, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and partner facility policies.
  • Provide feedback to improve workflow and enhance the patient experience across the continuum of care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant license, required.
  • IV therapy certification, preferred.
  • Healthcare experience required, with experience in Radiology settings preferred.
