We are seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to join our Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will have a background in renewable energy and experience with performance monitoring software.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. a. Coordinate daily with control room personnel, field teams, operational teams, and asset managers to ensure high performance of Apex's assets.
  1. b. Monitor equipment performance using in-house and commercial software, alerting site personnel of anomalies and trends that could adversely affect reliability, availability, and performance.
  1. c. Analyze KPIs against budgets and contribute to monthly reporting.
  1. d. Identify risks to the plant, provide recommendations to mitigate them, and follow up to ensure resolutions are tracked through to completion.
  1. e. Develop technical assessments and analyses to improve operational performance and reliability, meeting operational targets or understanding deviations from them.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with asset performance software.
  • Reneuable energy experience required.
  • Demonstrated history of developing, implementing, and operating performance monitoring programs.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience.
