Job Summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Technician III to join our team in Greenville, SC. This role involves providing expert-level maintenance and repair services for industrial HVAC/R equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC-related equipment, including ventilation systems, pumps, fans, and rooftop AHUs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical circuits, including 3-phase power up to 480V, and mechanical systems.
  • Utilize building automation systems to track building conditions and equipment operation.
  • Collaborate with customers to provide service and feedback on work orders, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience as an HVAC maintenance technician in an industrial environment.
  • EPA Type 1 certification.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet and in aerial lifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or technical school diploma in industrial electrical, mechanical, or HVAC.
  • Experience working with electrical voltage up to 480V 3 phase.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing Variable Frequency Drives.
