Position Overview:

The Trauma Program Coordinator RN plays a critical role in the clinical activities of the Trauma Program, ensuring the efficiency of the program by coordinating the clinical aspects of trauma care and facilitating an interdisciplinary approach to trauma management. This position is responsible for leading performance improvement efforts through concurrent patient review and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate clinical activities of the Trauma Program
  • Ensure the efficiency of the program by coordinating clinical aspects of trauma care
  • Facilitate an interdisciplinary approach to trauma management
  • Lead performance improvement efforts through concurrent patient review and project management

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a nursing-related field
  • 3 years of experience in an emergency department or trauma setting
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Master's degree in nursing preferred
  • Registered Nurse licensure
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification within 1 year of hire

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Weekend Requirements:

No weekends required

Call Requirements:

None
