Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Mental Health Services Leadership to join our team at YAI. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a team of Coordinators and develop effective support plans for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (I/DD) and mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative supervision to a team of START Coordinators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
* Develop and maintain linkages and relationships with community partners to ensure comprehensive support
* Coordinate support meetings and crisis plans, ensuring timely interventions and resolutions
* Share on-call responsibilities for crisis situations, providing expert guidance and support
* Participate in recurring meetings to develop cross-systems crisis plans and drive strategic initiatives
* Maintain a small caseload and provide direct support to START Coordinators as needed

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or other Human Service field
* At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with I/DD and mental health needs, with a proven track record of success
* One year of supervisory experience preferred, with a focus on leadership development and coaching
* Prior experience as a START Coordinator preferred, or ability to become certified within 12 months

Compensation: $65,000 annually
