We are in search of a Procurement Operations Specialist who can effectively collaborate across departments and lead strategic procurement initiatives to enhance purchasing efficiency for our organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, strategic planning, contract negotiation skills, and analytical expertise.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for executing the procurement process for designated business sectors and implementing policies and programs aimed at delivering contracted services and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with various teams and internal stakeholders to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and ensure the successful implementation of strategic procurement initiatives.
  • Leverage strong communication and negotiation abilities to shape procurement strategies and foster beneficial partnerships, utilizing contract adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis and assessments to create Requests for Proposals (RFPs), gather quotations, and manage bidding activities.
  • Work alongside internal stakeholders to formulate contracts and/or purchase orders with clear service level and performance benchmarks.
  • Establish yourself as a reliable advisor to internal stakeholders by offering guidance and support throughout the procurement process.
  • Identify, assess, and nurture relationships with key suppliers to maintain a dependable and strategic supplier network.
  • Continuously investigate and analyze market intelligence, industry trends, and benchmarking data to generate procurement insights and remain informed on industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years
