Job Description

Omni Inclusive is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network security solutions using Juniper, Netoptics, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Cisco products.
  • Manage and maintain our firewall policies, including ACLs, objects, and policies on Palo Alto and ASA devices.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Conduct network penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with our IT team to ensure the secure implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security posture.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in network security, with a focus on firewall administration and security policy development.
  • Expertise in Palo Alto and ASA firewall management, including policy management and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of network security technologies, including routing, switching, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience with security standards, regulations, and compliance frameworks, including ISO 17799/27002 and FERPA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications in IT security, such as CISSP or Cisco CCIE Security, are highly desirable.
