Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Cyntergy. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing HVAC and Plumbing design services for various building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement code-compliant HVAC and Plumbing systems for building projects.
  • Develop and maintain industry design standards for HVAC and Plumbing systems.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance reviews to ensure high-quality design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to provide design concept guidance for building projects.
  • Interact with clients, customers, and contractors to meet project delivery requirements.
  • Attend project meetings and present design aspects to stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of the mechanical engineering scope of work.
  • Participate in career development and skills assessment with the Director.
  • Participate in client design milestone review meetings.
  • Receive guidance on complex problems and direction on modified techniques.
  • Perform additional discipline-specific functions, including code reviews and existing facility assessments.
  • Perform periodic functions, including travel and construction site observations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or 8-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Preferred but not required: Professional Engineer (PE) license. EIT certification is required.
  • Competency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software, such as Revit.
  • Experience with Trane Trace or Carrier HAP HVAC load and energy analysis programs.
  • Knowledge of building, energy, mechanical, plumbing, and life-safety codes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines and delivery requirements.
