About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Cyntergy AEC LLC. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering department, you will be responsible for providing expert-level design and engineering services for building systems, including HVAC and plumbing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop code-compliant HVAC and plumbing design documents
  • Implement industry design standards for HVAC and plumbing in the building environment
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance collaborative reviews
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to provide design concept guidance for building projects
  • Interact with clients, customers, and contractors to meet project delivery requirements
  • Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments
  • Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of the mechanical engineering scope of work
  • Participate in career development and performance reviews
  • Perform mechanical and plumbing code reviews and existing facility assessments
  • Perform construction site observations and write related reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • PE certification preferred but not required; EIT certification required
  • Competency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software such as Revit
  • Experience with Trane Trace or Carrier HAP HVAC load and energy analysis programs
  • Knowledge of building, energy, mechanical, plumbing, and life-safety codes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
