Job Summary

Optimal Beginnings is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to fill the role of Clinical Director. This position will be responsible for overseeing client cases, supervising ABA therapists, and collaborating with other BCBAs on protocol and policy development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intakes and behavioral assessments for clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
  • Supervise and train ABA therapists, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BCaBAs
  • Collaborate with other BCBAs on protocol and policy development
  • Represent Optimal Beginnings at conferences and networking events
Requirements
  • BCBA certification
  • Licensed or willing to become licensed as an LBA in Maryland and Virginia
  • Active CPR certification
  • Ability to work between the hours of 9 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday-Friday
  • Reliable transportation
Qualifications
  • Experience/training with in-clinic Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Experience in early intervention beneficial
  • Experience working with typically developing children beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility, creativity, and strong organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Leadership qualities
  • Energetic and love working with children
