About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled Claims Manager Workers Compensation to join our team. As a Claims Manager Workers Compensation, you will be responsible for managing the technical and operational functions within a dedicated client, ensuring consistent delivery of quality services, managing staffing and training needs of specified units, and overseeing budget preparation and profit and loss management within the dedicated client program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee overall operational management for assigned dedicated client.
  • Establish and maintain policy and procedure to ensure compliance with best practices, claims management services standards, state regulations, and client service requirements.
  • Develop and implement business plans with goals and objectives for the partnership of the dedicated client.
  • Work closely with Program Management to identify cost savings strategies, communicate with key client personnel, and represent the company as a liaison to clients and partners.
  • Monitor management reports relating to the dedicated client's performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Licenses as required.
  • Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, including four (4) years claims management experience and two (2) years supervisory experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of claims management procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Leadership/management/motivational skills.
  • Analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
