Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Center of Excellence Clinician to join our team at Child & Family Services of Eastern Virginia Inc. As a key member of our outpatient counseling program, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical counseling and psychoeducational groups to a diverse caseload, including individuals, families, and couples.
  • Conduct assessments, write progress notes, and prepare discharge summaries as part of our electronic health record.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, psychiatrists, and other treatment team members to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
  • Participate in weekly clinical groups, supervision, and administrative meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based treatments.
  • Provide services via telehealth platform as required.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and certifications.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy, with eligibility for licensure in the state of Virginia.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of professional counseling and social work, including case work methods and techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively with other professional disciplines and communicate effectively through written and verbal reports.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must meet background check requirements and have a valid driver's license.
