You will be responsible for maintaining project integrity concerning cost, scope, and timeline while adhering to industry standards.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the engineering design, procurement, and construction phases of capital projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant specifications and standards.
  • Manage the development and execution of project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, including leadership, engineers, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project scopes and construction packages with comprehensive documentation.
  • Perform accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all assigned projects.
  • Coordinate safety and constructability reviews to ensure project viability.
  • Prepare requisitions for engineered items and create spare parts lists.
  • Monitor and report on project cost and schedule performance.
  • Address any technical and commercial challenges that arise during project execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5-8 years of project management experience in the chemical or refining industry.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Possession of an active TWIC Card.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or similar Project Management certifications.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to safety, health, environmental, and quality assurance standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
  • A collaborative team player dedicated to achieving project goals.
