  • Develop engineering specifications and project proposals.

  • Follow up on project progress and ensure completion.
  • Identify and resolve design and development challenges.
  • Evaluate the sustainability and environmental impact of engineering projects.
  • Propose solutions for issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Understand and implement food safety standards within the facility.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in mechanical drawing and drafting, particularly with AutoCAD.
  • Solid mathematical and scientific aptitude.
  • Competence in using software tools such as Word, Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with the following areas:
    • Gears, gearboxes, pulleys, couplings, and bearings.
    • Optical and laser alignment tools.
    • Paper and paper converting machinery.
    • ASME Section Code for non-fired pressure vessels.
    • General machining practices and industry tolerances.

Salary Range: $85K - $130K
