  • Supervise and coordinate the work of clerical staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed\r
  • Monitor patient flow, registrations, and wait times, reassigning staff as necessary to optimize efficiency\r
  • Maintain accurate time and attendance records, submit weekly payroll, and review personnel actions\r
  • Establish performance objectives, monitor progress, and ensure departmental goals are met\r
  • Develop and implement training plans, provide on-the-job training, and evaluate staff performance\r
  • Communicate departmental goals, foster a motivating work environment, and maintain clinic statistics\r
  • Ensure compliance with billing requirements, data integrity, and accounting guidelines\r
  • Collaborate with Medical Directors and Practice Manager to revise and recommend clinical schedules and space\r
  • Promote a positive, supportive attitude towards patients and staff, resolving issues and conflicts as needed\r

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required\r
  • At least three years of full-time experience in a healthcare business or medical office setting\r
  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred\r
  • Demonstrated technical competency using standard hospital computer systems, Microsoft Office, and hospital registration systems\r
  • Ability to mentor, guide, and motivate direct reports, analyze problems, and solve them in a systematic manner\r
  • Knowledge of clinical operations, hospital financial and human resources policies, and medical terminology\r
  • Excellent English grammatical skills, interpersonal, organizational, and management skills\r

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (depending on location and experience)
