Job Title: Lead Warehouse Technician

CSC ServiceWorks is a leading provider of commercial laundry services, consumer services technology, and air-vending and EV solutions throughout the United States and Canada. We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Warehouse Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Lead Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of warehouse activity, inventory, and maintenance of building, grounds, and warehouse. This includes working with the delivery, installation, collection, and service teams to ensure equipment is properly moved in and out of the warehouse and customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure on-time deliveries, moves, and removals through proper scheduling.
  • Coordinate deliveries, moves, and removals with sales, customers, and contractors, acting as primary contact.
  • Schedule and coordinate warehouse shipping and receiving.
  • Process warehouse transactions in proper systems (ie. Receipts and transfers).
  • Maintain inventory of machines, accessories, etc.
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks and perform full quarterly inventory.
  • Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment including fork trucks, jacks, and delivery trucks.
  • Provide direction for warehouse workers and temporary help.
  • Serve as coordinator with Install team for smooth install preparation and return of equipment.
  • Order and process all parts through the Company parts fulfillment program.
  • Stock parts in a timely and organized manner.
  • Distribute parts to Service Technician; includes stocking and/or shipping.
  • Maintain the parts/stock room in a clean and organized manner.
  • Reconcile and prepare payment request of invoices for parts.
  • Ensure that all work is conducted in a safe manner, comply with government safety regulations and company safety policy.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; and 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong oral and written communications.
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Computer and smart phone skills.
  • Efficient record keeping skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy warehouse and delivery environment.
  • Maintain valid forklift certification per local government regulation and company policy.
  • Experience with power and hand tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35-100 pounds and will frequently work in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related).
  • Ability to walk numerous levels of stairs.
  • Ability to maneuver in restrictive areas; often squatting, kneeling, crawling, and reaching overhead, while lifting, holding and maneuvering tools or service parts weighing from 20-50 lbs.
