Job Summary

The Driver Helper will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our delivery operations at Reico. This position requires a team player who can provide exceptional customer service, learn the duties and responsibilities of the driver position, and assist other departments within Operations when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist drivers with making timely and accurate deliveries, ensuring a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.
  • Report to work on time, dressed in the required attire, including work boots, gloves, hard hats, and long pants.
  • Assist drivers in completing their assigned route, using company check off and double check procedures to ensure accurate delivery of all materials.
  • Inspect and sign off on marble tops to ensure product is delivered in good condition.
  • Learn driver duties, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, map reading skills, routing, and using the AS400 system.
  • Assist warehouse staff when needed and deliver special runs when returning from route.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings and training classes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to:

  • Become well-versed in all products that Reico has to offer.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Learn and adapt to new procedures and systems.
