Supply Chain Procurement Internship

At Jack Link's Protein Snacks, we're looking for a talented and driven individual to join our Supply Chain team as a Procurement Intern. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in managing procurement categories, working closely with multiple departments, and developing tools to drive supply chain success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee procurement categories to ensure no production plant out of stocks.
  • Review and revise purchase orders in response to changes in sales forecasts or manufacturing schedules.
  • Act as a liaison between Supply Planning, Plant Buyers, and Suppliers, communicating and troubleshooting issues.
  • Monitor past due POs for assigned categories, working with suppliers to resolve late orders and escalating issues.
  • Update weekly reports to assist in monitoring procurement categories.
  • Provide assistance to management and departments on matters related to supporting plant production.
  • Effectively participate in supply chain projects to deliver expected outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics/Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering, or Finance.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and meet deadlines within a specified timeframe.
  • Team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Quick learner.
